The Founders Award is presented by the Bentley brothers that founded Bentley Systems, Inc. in recognition of a colleagues continuous contribution to advancing the technology innovation and business success of the company.

 

Major General Merdith W. B. (Bo) Temple, Deputy Commanding General, Military and International Operations, Director of Military Programs, Headquarters U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, awarded to Bentley Systems the Engineer Regiment Challenge Coin. Andy's responsibility was project manager for Bentley's team to successfully complete the Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBIE) demonstration which stressed the importance of performance based, open standards for information exchange among all industry stakeholders.

 

Andy's contribution to Bentley Building has been outstanding; his knowledge, leadership, and work significantly added to our success in 2006. His work with the (GSA) General Services Administration and the (IFC) Industry Foundation Classes standards, his tireless support for the sales organization on last minute presentations and travel were above and beyond his standard duties. To achieve an excellent results with airports he developed outstanding marketing materials working with Corporate Marketing. He reached out to the other verticals as their products are included in this Airport solution.

Extremely dedicated and loyal Bentley employee who demonstrates an "above and beyond the call" attitude every single day. He is universally appreciated by both users and staff. His communication skills are excellent. As a remote employee, Andy has become a master at serving remote territories and remote staff, and yet there are few people, staff or users, that don't think Andy is right around the corner, no matter where they are. Details are important to our business and details are a particular specialty of Andy's. from making sure our users are invoiced correctly, to persistently pursuing solutions to compensation issues for his team, Andy has an amazing ability to make everyone's problems his number one priority and perhaps most intriguing of all, Andy does everything with a happy-go-lucky smile.

Deserving of the Corporate Achievement Award because of his tireless efforts to assist end users' consulting needs as a Project Manager. He has contributed significantly to Bentley's success in numerous accounts. His major Bentley achievements in the last year include organizing and leading the Model Engineering product benchmark that resulted in increased efforts to integrate all MEBG products and to focus attention to the need for integration testing before encountering the unknowns at the end users site; managing the NBBJ companywide rollout of MicroStation TriForma; managing a major customization opportunity with Urban Data Solutions in the integration and customization of TriForma and MicroStation for line of site analysis for the telecommunications industry.
